Oops. Someone is using the Light Party name at Halloween no less!
CAPA seem to be nice people so we've asked them to rename their event using their online form:
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we have become aware that you are advertising a Ghost Light Party at Halloween. Light Party® is a registered trade mark (www.lightparty.org) and as such we request that you kindly rename your event to remove the trademarked term. Party of light, ghost light ghost party are acceptable however the use of "light party" is prohibited under trade mark law. Confirmation that you have done this will be appreciated. We hope that will understand and that there will be no need to take the matter further with litigation. Thanking you kindly.Light Party enforces the trade mark and we hope these people realise that they have made a mistake and rectify the matter. We'll keep you all informed of their response and what happens.
